Why “AstroSurveyor”?

Some of you may wonder, where I came up with the name, AstroSurveyor? When I first created my Youtube channel, I had chosen to name it AstroDad. I am a proud father of two wonderful young boys and the name seemed appropriate. I soon found that the name “AstroDad” was already being used by several other people both on Youtube and on other social media platforms. Also, astrodad.com was not available as it was already being used by someone else. After careful consideration and research, I decided to use “AstroSurveyor”. Chris, I understand the “Astro” part due to your interest in all things space, but why “Surveyor”? This is an homage to my father who for many years worked as a Professional Land Surveyor. Just as he surveyed the land, I survey space.
